Not only are Corsair Trimarans great performance sailing boats but they are great cruising boats too.  When they are at harbor they are wide and comfortable.  A tent over the boom greatly increases the living space of your tri.   The nets make for a great diving or swimming platform.  The boats shallow draft further enhances it's capacity as a cruising boat.  Corsair tris can easily be outfitted with tiller pilots so that all you do is punch in a compass heading or GPS coordinates and enjoy the ride.

Look to this page for suggestions on great places to go cruising, as well as cruising accessories.  Have you cruised in a place you fondly remember?  If you want to share it with other Corsair owners send us a note and we will post it:.  This year some of 31's will be cruising back from the Macinac Race.

Great Lakes Harbors  This is a web page of all the harbors in the Great Lakes.  You can click on the region where you will be cruising.  The site has aerial photos of most harbors and radio and phone contact info as well.

Food Safety  This link from Washington State University gives some great tips on packing a safe sandwich as well as other general information useful to someone taking food on a half day or multi-day trip.

Wisconsin Yacht Clubs  Here is a link to all of Wisconsin's Yacht Clubs.  Many have web pages.  These are often good places to stop while you are cruising.  Most will give you reciprocal privileges if you are a member of another yacht club.
